The PUBG Corporation has come forth with details surrounding its next premier esports event — the PUBG Continental Series 3 (PCS3). The upcoming series will see teams from four regional tournaments spanning North America, Europe, Asia, and Asia-Pacific compete for the title of regional Grand Champions and for a $200K USD regional prize pool ($800K total).
Each region will host its own regional qualifications with the PCS3 North America Group Stage heading into its second of three weekends. During the Group Stage, the 24 best North American teams, including Shoot to Kill, Oath, and Soniqs, will compete for a $50K Group Stage prize pool and one of the 16 spots available in the PCS3 North America Grand Final.
After the PCS3 Group Stages, the PCS3 Grand Final will take place across three weekends, with each regional tournament’s Grand Champions being determined after 24 total matches.
PUBG viewers can tune-in to each PCS3 Grand Final on:
North America: Nov. 5-6, Nov. 12-13, Nov. 19-20
Asia: Nov. 5-6, Nov. 12-13, Nov. 19-20
Europe: Nov. 7-8, Nov. 14-15, Nov. 21-2
Asia-Pacific: Nov. 7-8, Nov. 14-15, Nov. 21-22
Lastly, the Pick’Em Challenge returns for Series 3 and allows fans the opportunity to win in-game rewards for predicting the winners of each regional tournament. As in previous events, a voting “coupon” is required to cast a vote. These voting coupons can be acquired by purchasing celebratory PCS3 items or by watching the tournaments.
