Sixteen teams from across Europe will be duking it out for two spots in the $1 million league.
B Site has revealed the names of the eight teams that have been invited to compete in the closed qualifier for Flashpoint 2. GODSENT, North, forZe and HAVU headline the invite list for the tournament, which will also feature eight teams determined by open qualifiers.
The 16 teams have been split into two double-elimination groups, with all matches being played in a best-of-three format. The group winners will earn spots in the second edition of Flashpoint, joining seven of the league’s eight founding partners – including Cloud9, MIBR and defending champions MAD Lions – and three invitees ranked inside the top 20.
