FURIA seek potential replacements for HEN1 – Report

FURIA are on the lookout for players to potentially replace their star AWPer Henrique “HEN1” Teles, according to a report by DBLTAP, following issues outside of the server.

The player swap would not come into effect immediately, however, as HEN1 would still be in the Brazilian squad’s starting lineup for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown, DreamHack Masters Winter and IEM Global Challenge, after which his spot on the roster would be filled by another player.

HEN1 could be out of FURIA’s starting lineup by the end of the year

HEN1, a finalist at the PGL Major in Krakow with Immortals, has been on FURIA‘s books since September of 2019, when he was recruited joined after Luminosity, the team he had been plying his trade for since mid-2018, released their squad.

During his tenure as FURIA‘s main AWPer, he has helped the team win several events in North America during the online era, namely DreamHack Masters Spring, DreamHack Open Summer and ESL Pro League Season 12, amassing a notable 1.14 rating along the way.

FURIA, who are currently competing in Europe, will play the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Showdown in hopes of securing a spot in the Fall Finals, and have their opening match against Isurus on Tuesday, November 24 at 19:30
