Motorola Sponsors Brazilian Organization paiN Gaming – The Esports Observer|home of essential esports business news and insights


paiN Gaming signed smartphone manufacturer Motorola as its newest sponsor on Wednesday. The announcement comes after the team closed a sponsorship on-year deal with Brazilian fintech Ame Digital

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The deal is expected to last six months, making Motorola the first smartphone brand to sponsor a Brazilian esports team. Motorola’s logo will be displayed beginning this month on the jerseys of paiN’s League of Legends (LoL), Valorant, Free Fire, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), and Clash Royale lineups. 

paiN Gaming will also be promoting the sponsor’s Moto G9 Plus phone through special activations. It is a move by the brand towards the gaming and esports audience in Brazil, which is heavily composed of mobile players.

Motorola joins Coca-Cola, TIM Live, BMW, Ame Digital, Tinder, t-shirt brand Piticas, hard-drive manufacturer Western Digital, and bank BS2 as a paiN gaming sponsor.
